Anne of Green Gables chapter II

It's what Anne said to Matthew when she arrived in Prince Edward Island and met him for the first time.

Although this is conversational routine in English greeting, she is glad from the bottom of her heart much more than diplomatic language at this time.

We meet various people in our life. I'd like to have interpersonal encounter I'm delighted at the meeting with all my heart for the first time.

However, we can't form a stable relationship soon at the first meeting, but it is shaped over period of time, I guess.

Everybody looks forward to seeing spring flowers, among them tulip is adorable. However we must not replace all flowers in the world with tulips. If you get Japan, you will find cosmos which grow wild along roadsides. You can see flowery fields of rape blossoms scene. Japanese cute flowers blossom out with climbing high mountains. There are lily if going there, you surely know sakura. I mean this earthly round is so wonderful. We must not make gray uniformity of the world in any sense.

The extent of your own world is proportional to the width of your mind.

As long as you shut your mind, new thing doesn't come into your view.

Why don't you open the door of your heart so people can enter your world easily?

Lots of meeting and experiences expand your world.

Such a beautiful day, I feel I'd like to act like myself.

Well, don't you think that it's difficult to act like yourself?

And, what is "like oneself"?　....I don't know.

In the first place, What is "myself"？
